The Petroleum Services Association of Canada is the national trade association representing the service, supply and manufacturing sectors within the upstream petroleum industry. As the voice of Canada’s petroleum service, supply and manufacturing sector, PSAC advocates for its members to enable the continued innovation, technological advancement and in-the-field experience they supply to Canada’s energy explorers and producers, helping to increase efficiency, improve safety and protect the environment. PSAC member companies represent a significant portion of the business volume generated in the petroleum services industry.
The Mission of the Society is to advance the professions of the energy geosciences - as it applies to geology; foster the scientific, technical learning and professional development of its members; and promote the awareness of the profession to industry and the public.
Thank you for your interest in our Society. The CSEG was established in 1949, and today hosts approximately 1,800 members. An estimated 60% of our members are geophysicists actively involved in hydrocarbon exploration. Others are academics, geologists, technical specialists, field specialists and other interested industry personnel.
The objective of the Society is to promote the science of geophysics, especially as it applies to exploration, and to promote fellowship and co-operation among those persons interested in geophysical prospecting.
PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada is a Canadian hydrocarbon industry association that serves as a neutral non-profit facilitator of collaborative R&D and technology development, and operates in partnership with all industry stakeholders to transform challenges into opportunities. By effectively leveraging financial resources and technical expertise through our proven model, PTAC has been able to able to support collaborative networks which advance innovative R&D and technology development projects, that address pertinent industry challenges through activities which reduce costs, improve operational efficiencies, enhance environmental stewardship, advance regulatory development, and provide our industry with the social licence to operate.
PETFORM (Petroleum Platform Association) was established on 15 September 2000 under the leadership of domestic and foreign companies operating in the fields of crude oil and natural gas exploration, production, processing, storage, transportation and refining and natural gas import and sales.
PETFORM, which plays a key role in transferring private sector sensitivities to the competent public institutions in all legal arrangements that Turkey needs in the field of energy, has taken an active role on behalf of the private sector in the formulation of legal legislation required by the energy sector, especially the Natural Gas Market Law and the Turkish Petroleum Law.
The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) is a global professional, not-for-profit association for geoscientists and engineers with approximately 19,000 members worldwide. It provides a global network of commercial and academic professionals to all members. The association is truly multi-disciplinary and international in form and pursuits.
All members of EAGE are professionally involved in (or studying) geophysics, petroleum exploration, geology, reservoir engineering, mining and mineral exploration, civil engineering, tunneling and environmental matters.
The PESGB was established in 1964 by a group of like-minded professionals keen to create a community of geoscientists for networking and sharing ideas. Over 50 years on, we have maintained those founding principles.
With a membership of over 4500 individuals, active in all six continents, the PESGB community is supported by various Regional Branches and Special Interest Groups. We have established a number of flagship events where professionals network, share technical excellence, and discuss the latest developments. These events include PETEX, PROSPEX and a vast array of field trips, courses, seminars and conferences.
